Double-layer Drop-side Semi-trailer: The height is above 1800mm. It is also used for long-distance transportation and can carry more goods, improving transportation efficiency.
By the Length of the Locking RodLong Locking Rod Drop-side Semi-trailer: It evolved from the early box semi-trailers for coal transportation. The top is open, making it convenient for loading goods, and it is enclosed with canvas on all sides, with functions similar to those of a box truck. When the vehicle body length is more than 11m, 3 pairs of double doors are designed on each side; when the vehicle body length is less than 11m, 2 pairs of double doors are designed on each side. It is mainly used to transport goods such as coal and sand.
Short Locking Rod Semi-trailer: There is no side enclosure at the top, and the locking rod is short. The height from the floor to the top of the drop-side is generally not higher than 1800mm, and the anti-expansion ability of the drop-side is poor. In addition to transporting coal and sand, it can also be used for long-distance logistics transportation.
By the Shape of the BeamStraight-beam Drop-side Semi-trailer: Commonly known as the “flat plate”, it is mostly used for the transportation of bulk goods, such as coal, grain, sand, etc., and the loading and unloading are relatively convenient.
Gooseneck Drop-side Semi-trailer: Commonly known as the “high-low plate”. The height difference between the floor and the gooseneck is generally about 200mm. Compared with the straight-beam structure, it has a larger loading space and a lower center of gravity of the goods. It is suitable for the transportation of general goods with relatively low density and the transportation of coal in mountainous areas with many curves.
